Artistic career
Ben began his career in Nice in the 1950s, inspired by Fluxus and conceptual movements. He explored text and language art, using words as his main tool. His works question society, art, and everyday life.
He is known for his phrase-based paintings, performances, and interactive installations. He collaborated with many artists from the Nouveau Réalisme and Fluxus movements, participating in international exhibitions that redefined the boundaries of art.
